My name is Josephine Journeyman. I grew up in a small town in the Eastern Plains on a ranch. By small, I mean my graduating class was nine people, including two foreign exchange students. After high school, I went to Colorado College and in the few years since have been finding my way in the real world. I worked in a hotel, where I learned about the realities of minimum wage, heard lectures about why I shouldn’t have majored in English, and experienced the (dis)pleasure of trucker/hotel clerk relations. Since then, I have moved on to remodeling a mansion and shelving books in a library. Before you ask, I can tell you, mansions are not all they are cracked up to be. This blog will follow my thoughts and experiences of life after college in the workplace. I will, however, take artistic license and dive into topics that will profess no correlation to anything at all. Comments on what I should have graduated in will be taken lightly, and ideas for blog posts will be considered.
